Whats going on at Council 7243 in Apache Junction, AZ
May 19, 2021: The Arizona State Knights of Columbus Convention starts tomorrow and will be held in Scottsdale, AZ at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. Attending from Council 7243 will be Bob Mohle DGK, Don Martins IG and Tom Wolf 3yr Trustee and PGK. I will update after the convention with their report.
Today, May 18. 2021 Doug Hughes, FS presented a check to our Seminarian Luis Ochoa in the amount of $500.00 for his further training and education anticipating Ordination in 2023
May 14, 2021 we cut a check for $11,650.00 to AZ K of C Charities, Inc as proceeds of our Drawing Ticket sales for Arizona Charities. Half of the amount will be sent to St George Catholic Parish and the other half will be distributed to many Arizona charity organizations.
April 29, 2021 we finished the bathroom project where we assisted a member and his wife who are in their 80’s and could not handle a bathroom renovation. Four of our members pitched in to lay tile and place bathroom fixtures as well as pick fruit in the yard.
There have been many projects over the past year so please take a look at the Programs menu item to see what all we have been doing. After all this is our first launch of our new website.
